Grading:  Offered on a CR/NC basis only. Math 120  [ 3 ]  Intermediate Algebra Description: Preparation for Math 121, 129, and Stat 145. Covers linear equations and inequalities, polynomials, factoring, exponents, radicals, fractional expressions and equations, quadratic equations, perimeters, areas of simple geometric shapes, and logarithms. Emphasis on problem solving skills. Acceptable as credit toward graduation, but not acceptable to satisfy UNM core or group requirements. Math 150  [ 3 ]  Pre-Calculus Mathematics Description: In depth study of polynomial, rational, exponential and logarithmic functions and their graphs.
