Summer Workshop: June 1 - June 30, 2009
Number of Students Funded: 18
Funding for the students includes:
1. A $2,000 stipend
2. Travel expenses (up to $400 per participant)
3. Subsistence: $49 perdiem for 20 days ($980)
4. Lodging at the UNM dorms for the non-local students
Undergraduate Research Projects (URP): Academic Year 2009-2010
Number of URP Funded: 8 (for UNM undergraduate students)
Funding for each URP: Up to $5,000 for the academic year
Graduate Traineeships (GT): Academic Year 2009-2010
Number of GT Funded: 2
Funding for each GT includes:
1. A $25,000 Traineeship for the Academic Year
2. Fringe benefits
3. Tuition
After their first year the GTs will become regular TAs in the Department of
Mathematics and Statistics. GTs will be TAs for the 2010 Summer Workshop
