In order to use Maple 8 on an X-terminal connected to the
University of New Mexico computers, use the command *xmaple &*.
In order to use Maple 8 on a Windows PC click on *Start*, *Programs*,
and *Maple 6*.
After you are in Maple 8 you can click your mouse on *Help* to obtain
extensive information, and a good place to start is the Help's
*Introduction* and *New User Tour*.
When you are in Maple 8 you can click your mouse on *File* and then
*Open* to choose and then *Load* a tutorial or sample file ending
in .mws.
