Cotopaxi on or before July 15. After July 15 we will NOT do any

Current exchange rate is 31.7 Czech crowns (Kc) per $. Exchange
offices are located at the airport and at the railway stations. When
exchanging money keep the receipt which you would need for changing
the remaining Czech crowns back.
1. from the Prague Airport
Krystal is quite close to the airport---do not take shuttle to
the center.
a. by public transport
take right exit from the arrival hall; go straight approx. 40 m
crossing a few taxi lines to the bus stop which is a bit on the right
with transparent shelter; take bus number 119 from the Airport to the
stop "Divoka Sarka" (7th or 8th stop - one stop is optional, only
after a signal to driver) which is close to ending loop of tramway
tracks; change to tram nr. 20 or 26; exit on the 2-nd stop "Koospol";
go straight ahead along the tracks 300 m and hotel Krystal is on your
right (its photo is on the web)
you have to buy the ticket at the airport before entering bus, either
in automatic machines (you would need coins) or in a newspaper stand;
buy a ticket for 12 Kc (valid for 60 min after stamping, in all city
public transportation means); after entering the bus stamp it in
yellow stamping machine inside the bus
cost - 12 Kc, estimated time - 30 min
b. by taxi
Agree on price before entering the car! The maximum allowed price in
Prague is 17 Kc/km. See taxi warning below!
cost - approx. 260 Kc with airport taxi (Belinda) or approx. 150 Kc
with AAA, however you need to phone them 1080 and wait them few
minutes on their meeting place on the right of the arrival hall right
exit, estimated time - 10 min
2. from Prague Main (Hlavni) railway station
a. by public transport
entrance to the subway (Metro) is just inside the railway station
hall; take the entrance closer to the outer windows of the big hall;
take line C (red one) one station to the station "Muzeum"; change to
subway line A (green one) -- you go directly down from the middle of
the platform -- in the direction to "Dejvicka"; go to the station
"Dejvicka"; take the exit by the first carriage of the subway train;
one floor up take the right of two straight exits to trams; take
tramway nr. 20 or 26 to the station "Koospol" in the direction "Divoka
Sarka"; go straight back along the tracks 300 m and hotel Krystal is
on your right (its photo is on the web)

a. by public transport
from the raiway station you enter the hall connecting it with subway
station; turn right and very close is subway entrance; take line C
(red one) to the station "Muzeum" and continue as described above for
going from Prague Main railway station; you will pass through the
subway station "Hlavni nadrazi" which is Prague Main railway station
you have to buy the ticket at the railway station before entering
subway, either in automatic machines (you would need coins) or in a
newspaper stand; buy a ticket for 12 Kc (valid for 60 min after
stamping, in all city public transportation means); before entering
the subway area stamp it in yellow stamping machine in the big railway
station hall
cost - 12 Kc, estimated time - 35-45 min
b. by taxi
Agree on price before entering the car! The maximum allowed price in
Prague is 17 Kc/km. See taxi warning below!
cost - approx. 200 Kc with AAA, estimated time - 20 min (might depend
on traffic jam during working days)
Taxi WARNING:
Unfortunatelly Prague taxi drivers are famous for cheating their
custommers, especially foreigners, by asking higher (sometimes much
higher) prices. We believe that it is better to warn you. Here are
few advices:
1. agree on the price before entering the car
2. never catch taxi just on the street
3. we suggest you to use AAA Radiotaxi Tel.: 1080; best is to phone
them personaly; this has several advantages:
- everyone at their dispatching on Tel.: 1080 speaks English
- you might ask the dispatching about the price; even after that
agree with driver on the price
- AAA Radiotaxi claim to have no overcost troubles for rides ordered
through their dispatching
- you do not pay anything for their car to come
- their price is 17 Kc/km and 3 Kc/min for waiting; their prices
from the airport and railway stations to the hotel Krystal are
above; price for one ride between Krystal and city center
(Venceslav square) is approx. 220 Kc
