Computer Algebra and Functional Programming in Mathematics Education

In this paper we describe the experience of study, development and application
of computer algebra systems and teaching of functional programming in
educational courses of programming department of math faculty of Novosibirsk
State University.  Moreover, the experience of the course "Programming
paradigmes"is reflected.  The paper reports on the experience, on the problems
encountered, and some suggestions for future developments.  This work is
