Bio:

• Born in the Kentucky and raised in Germany, Angel Poling grew up traveling the world with her military family. She was a first-generation student: first in her family to attend a four-year college and attain a bachelor degree. She was a non-traditional student having had a family first before coming to UNM for an education. She began her math education at two classes below college credit, and she earned two degrees in Applied Mathematics (BS & MS), proving that it is not where you start that matters. Angel knows that the struggle is real and is more than happy to help you find your way here at UNM, with mathematics, or in life.
