Course Meetings:  The course lectures will be held in SMLC 352 on MWF at 11-11:50 am. 

Topics:   We will focus on homological techniques in commutative ring theory.  First we will review the basics of commutative rings and modules.  Then we will introduce the language and techniques of homological algebra that will allow us to define special types of commutative rings.
