The 7th conference, AMUC 07, Arizona Math Undergraduate Conference, was held at Western New Mexico University. UNM had a small contingent of 2 students and 2 faculty attending and giving talks. Student speakers from UNM were:

     Roman Wowk, UNM

accompanied by UNM Professors Alejandro Aceves and Monika Nitsche. It was a wonderful conference, with 24 great student talks and 4 invited speakers, and a great evening with a play over dinner at an old western bar.

With the larger New Mexico presence the conference was later renamed to its current name, Southwestern Mathematics Undergraduate Conference.
