COURSE POLICIES (student ideas always welcome (email me!)....)
----------------------------------------------------------------------
*Read ahead! I strongly encourage you to bring your questions to class!

*You are welcome to email me with your questions. I may post them
(with an answer, if I have one!) on the "email hotline" for the entire
class to read. Of course, all identifying info will be omitted.

*Homework policy: Problems assigned and due at times as shown in
the syllabus. There will be 10 homeworks in all, and
            the homework counts for 40%

     *Tests: 3 exams each at 20% 60%
All tests are take-home. You can use any text, your notes
and the homework solutions handouts but not the assistance
of another person, directly or indirectly.

*Make-up policy: No make-up for late assignments-no exceptions!
(assignments are due on Thursdays, no later than 10' after class
       begins!)
