      COURSE POLICIES
----------------------------------------------------------------------
*Homework policy: Problems assigned each class time; due in class
                during next class period
Three or four problems per assignment will be graded
                                           Each problem worth 5 pts.
*Quizes: there will be a 15' quiz each Tuesday (worth 25 pts.)
*Projects: a few computing projects will be assigned (~4), 30 pts./ea.
*Final: cummulative final (on Tue., Dec. 14, 15:00->17:00), 300 pts.
*Make-up policy: No make-up for late assignments.
Make-up can be arranged for quizes missed with VALID
excuse (illness, family emergency, active participation
                        in scholarly or athletic activities)
                if prior notice is given.
*Attendance: is not mandatory, but will not be able to assist if you
miss class without a valid reason.
