To all People to whom this may concern, That I Elizabeth Sawer, of the Isle of Wight County Greeting Do for the natural Love and Affection, and more especially for my Marriage with Benjamin Westray, do Send to my Son known by the name of John, and Born out of Wedlock, to him and the Issue of his Body, for ever, one a Negroe boy named Jerry after my Decease, and in Case my said Son John should Die without Issue, then for the said Negroe Jerry to return to my Estate again, and to such Heirs of my Body as I, or my said Husband shall think proper to Give, or Devise the said Negroe boy Jerry unto, whereof I do hereunto set my Hand, and afix my Seal this fifth Day of October, in the Year of our Lord, one Thousand seven, & sixty three.
