I John Westray of the Isle of Wight County being Week of body but ... Sound and Perfect in Memory and Sence blessed be to God for the same and calling to mind the uncercainty of this Fraile life do therefore thing fit to make this my last Will and Testament in manner and form following ...
Item. I Give and bequeath unto my Son John Westray the Plantation whereon he now lives all the Land I bought of Benjamin Westray to him and his Heirs forever.
Item. I give and bequeath unto my Son Edmund Westray part of the Land I bought of Robert West what lies on the East side of the Indan Branch to him and his Heirs forever.
Item. I Give an bequeath unto my Son Benjamin Westray the Plantation whereon I now Dwell with all the Remainder of my Lands, also one feather bed and furniture & two cows and my Gun, and one young Horse and my great coat and all my ...cock of Hogges to him and his heirs forever.
Item. I Give and bequeath unto my Daughter Martha Westray one feather bed and furniture, also one Cow and Heifer and Three pounds to be made out of the Estate and my Loom and Gear belonging to it.
Item. Give and bequeath unto my Daughter Mary Westray one feather bed, one cow and Heifer also three pounds to be made out of the Estate and the Newest Spinning Wheal & the Linen Wheel.
Item. I Give and Bequeath unto my Loving Wife Ann Westray the Bed and furniture I now lie(?) on and her Choyce of one Cow & one Heifer, also one Spinning Wheal and one pair of Cards one old black Horse & one frying Pan and her Choice of the potts. [-page break-]
Item. I Give and bequeath My hand Mill to Use of my Wife and my Six Children and ...tand and remain on this Plantation.
And as for the rest of my Estate my will(?) and desire is that after my decease the Remainder of my my Estate as I have not given away to be Equally divided amonge my Loving Wife and Six Children to wit John, Edmund, Benjamin, Ann Pierce, Martha & Mary Westrays, and I do ordain my two Sons Westrays to be my sole Executors of this my ... Will wholly renouncing all former Wills that shall be Produced. I do state(?) and ordain this to be my Last Will and Testament as Witness here unto I have set my hand and seal this 23 day of December 1755.
