To all & whereas & now Know ye That I the said Sir William Berkeley Knight, Governor & give and grant unto William Westwary Seven hundred and fifty Acres of Land lying in the Isle of Wight County upon abranch of blacks Water Beginning at apoplar on the brow of a hill by the Swamps side and running Past by Mathew Tomlins Land three hundred and forty poles to his Corner tree, then South South East two hundred poles to ap...ohikory by a branch side, then South East one hundred and forty poles to a red oak, then West and by South two hundred and forty Poles [-page break-] Poles then North West and by West three hundred and six poles to apine, then North one hundred and sixty poles over aswamp at the lower part of this Line to the first station. The said Land being due unto the said William Westwary by and for the transportation of Fifteen Persons & To Have and To Hold & To be Held & yielding and Paying & provided & Dated the twenty sixth of September one thousand six hundred and sixty four.
