You can participate as a session organizer.

  1. Have a look at the conference program.
  2. Submit a proposal for a session.
  3. Wait for a response. If the session proposal is approved, continue.
  4. Invite speakers. Collect abstracts from them.
  5. Maintain a WWW page for your session (the skeleton will be sent to you upon approval of the sesssion proposal).
  6. During the conference chair the session.

Structure of session

The special session must focus on actual or possible applications of nontrivial computer algebra techniques to some other field or focus on some substantial interaction of computer algebra with some other field.

A special session is 3 hours long with a short break in the middle. Two typical formats are: 6 talks of 1/2 hour each; or one talk of one hour and 4 talks of 1/2 hour each. The allocated time includes questions and discussions.

At this point there is no funding for this meeting although outside funding is being sought. Thus all organizers and attendees are responsible for all of their expenses unless the organizers are able to obtain outside funding.
