[before visit] I talked to Yuridia and she had an awesome idea about ratios which is a 6th grade standard and directly ties in with the 6th grade curriculum.

[after visit] I just wanted to say thank you to you and your wonderful student volunteers from UNM. Their lessons were so engaging and the students absolutely loved having them here. They were asking when they are coming back again! This was a great experience for my students and we are forever grateful! Please thank Yuri, Scott, Kirstin and Andrew for being here with us! We would love to have them back or maybe create a partnership with UNM where this can happen more often.

I just want to say thank you for approaching me about this outreach opportunity :) It really was such a positive experience, I believe, for everyone involved. It is opportunities like this that remind me that college is more than just being buried in our books most of the time! :)
