Based on Kirstin's extensive previous experience with working with middle-school students, Kirstin and Andrew chose a topic to present to the 6th grade class and developed a presentation. They then met with Ms Leal and confirmed that their topic and presentation was appropriate for the class. Finally, they met with Professor Michael Nakamaye to finalize how to best present the material. They visited two of Ms Leal's 6th grade classes during UNM's spring break. |
