Yuridia and Scott visited Illustrative Mathematics to find a topic that they liked and was appropriate for a 6th grade level class, and outlined a presentation. They then skyped with Ms Leal to make sure their plan was appropriate for Ms Leal's class. Finally, they met with Professor Michael Nakamaye to finalize how to best present the material. They visited two of Ms Leal's 6th grade classes during UNM's spring break. |
