The conference headquarters will be at the Hiway House Motel. This is a modest motel that
is very well located at walking distance from the university in the Nob Hill area. It is surrounded by coffee houses, restaurants, bars, little stores, the only non-commercial movie house (The Guild) in
town, local organic Co-op (La Montanita), etc.
We are making reservations at the Hiway House for all the participants
that requested it in the registration form. The Hiway House Motel address and phone number are: 3200 Central Av., SE (505) 268-3971.

We have managed to overflow the Hiway House. The overflow
has been redirected to the "Plaza Inn Albuquerque". This Hotel is also walking distance from the university but
not as well located. It is East of Highway 25, on Lomas Boulevard. The Plaza Inn offers complementary Shuttle service to UNM. If this is your choice, you have to make your own reservation.

A few people have decided to use the designated hotel for the AMS conference, the "Double Tree Hotel" in Downtown Albuquerque.
Notice that the special rate of $79 is only valid for Fr-Sat and Sun night. Also there will be university shuttles over the weekend to take people back and forth from the hotel to the university, but not
on Thursday and Friday.
If you choose this option, you should make your own reservations.
