Differential simplicity in affine semigroup rings
Abstract: Let R be an affine semigroup ring over a field. We will discuss characteristics of the semigroup
defining R which 1) determine when D(R), the ring of differential operators of R, is simple and
2) determine when R is a simple D(R)- module.
