Title:  Hilbert transform, oscillatory integrals and hipersingular operators.

 

Abstract:  In this talk we will introduce the Hilbert transform and show its boundedness properties using the tools developped by Calderón and Zygmund. It will be necessary to estimate oscillatory integrals and we will see how Van der Corput's lemma is applied. Finally we will discuss hipersingular operators and how they fail to fit into Calderón-Zygmund´s theory.
