Title: Graduate school and you

Abstract: While important, it can be scary to consider graduate school. There is a lot of uncertainty and often not so many direct ways to ask questions. This talk will discuss aspects of graduate school, mathematics research, the advantages and disadvantages of pursuing graduate education, reasons and motivations, and what you can do to prepare for such a transition. Please bring questions as this will only involve a short presentation but will quickly transition to a colloquial style discussion, hopefully to put concerns at ease and clarify expectations and what you can look for to maximize this important consideration.
