All exams will be online, given and proctored on Zoom. The graduate committee will run a short Zoom practice session for registered students on Thursday January 7 (10:00am to 11:00am) to make sure that they feel comfortable with Zoom examination and that their set-up works.

Qual schedule: The graduate committee has decided to hold quals before the In-Service dates (Jan 14-15) as follows.

• Friday, Jan 8 (9:00am to 1pm): In-class Statistics (to 1pm) & Complex Analysis (to noon)
• Monday, Jan 11 (9:00am to noon): Algebra & Numerical Analysis
• Tuesday, Jan 12 (9:00am to noon): Geometry/Topology & ODE/PDE 
• Wednesday, Jan 13 (9:00am to noon): Real Analysis 

The Take-home Statistics exam will be distributed on Friday Jan 8, 2021  in the afternoon, and will be due on Friday Jan 15, 2021.
