David Alan Vargas was awarded an Honorable Mention by the NSF Graduate Research Fellowship Program. The NSF accords Honorable Mention to meritorious applicants who do not receive Fellowship awards. This is considered a significant national academic achievement. David is enrolling in our graduate program with a TA this Fall. Congratulations David!
