David Vargas, who received his BS in Applied Mathematics from UNM in Spring 2020 and is now a graduate student in Applied Mathematics working under the direction of Prof. Jacob Schroder just received one of three Student Paper Award at the 2022 Copper Mountain Conference on Iterative Methods.
The paper is titled: "Toward Parallel in Time for Chaotic Dynamical Systems".
